Where can I find a braided clutch hose ?
I am about to change the master and slave cylinders and wish to take the opportunity to change the hose as well.
If available, how much ?
Thanks

Hi there,
I've got a stock one lined up to be copied when I have the.time.
Though I'm unsure if the generations have different lengths / fittings.

na as far as i know only the hard lines are different and they terminate at the same point so the flex is the same.

From what I've read, the clutch hose can be a bit testing to get at with everything in the car. It's certainly not something that is "just there" when changing the hydraulic cylinders

APPARENTLY american braided lines dont meet the requirements for a NZ cert. My boss at work who has imported a few bits (brakes and shit) from the states before told me this.

The rules on this have flip-flopped a bit. I think now they've taken a sensible stance that if it's clearly designed as a brake hose and has crimped/swaged fittings (i.e. the fittings don't screw together onto the hose) then they meet the in service requirements (WOF)...
I don't think you'd run into problems over a clutch hose though.

I am very confident in using an American brake line. I mean imagine the law suite if one failed due to being sub standard.don't think the u.s suppliers would risk that.

They contract out of liability
Go with Bridgestone, no problems there
