You need the software... and the lead?Habanero666 wrote:Does anyone here still have the greddy emanage software support kit?

I gave Don at Autoway a laptop with the software on it. I have a lead - but I have never tested it - it is apparently an aftermarket one and I'm not sure if it works. You are welcome to try it - I can put on courier...
cheers

do you need the lead??
you can download the software from the net. for the Emanage blue you want to be using AT LEAST firmware version 1.25/1.47 respectively for pc and Emanage unit.
i have a lead but am somewhat hesitant to let it out of my sight as i have yet to see a set of injectors that i loaned for a "few days" come back to me...
once bitten etc etc.

Thank you for the tip.
I am trying to find that website to download the software, but cannot. Do you have a link please? ( EDIT) I have found it!
I would imagine the injectors not coming back would piss you off!
Please let me know what the web site is or maybe a link???
Cheers
Jim

You do not need to buy both the injector and ignition looms!
the unit comes with plenty of wires in the ignition loom that arent used by the mx5.so just buy that.
you just need to steal a few wires from the ignition plug and put them into the "main" plug to get it all working. you need a SMALL 2mm screwdriver or similar to pick out the wires and place them in.
that will save you some cash.
have a browse around here...

but be warned they don't like newbs asking "dumb" questions without searching first!
i have some wiring diags and stuff saved in my old old archive files on a spare drive somewhere. let me know if you need any help,it's been a few years since i tackled an install and setup but i'm sure it'll all come back to me...I pretty much know all there is to getting the best out of the emanage blue on a MX5..
I pioneered the NVCS/o2 clamp relay mod that no one else could work out...

Hahaha, this is going in my turboed Suzuki!
Very good point with the wires! I have only to use one wire for the ignition channel as the thing is single disi'ed
Went to a friends workshop and tried to find some plugs to fit it, no luck.
Ok I will check out the link and transhomolagate the data from maz to suz
Cheers

I have heard that the stereo headunit plug from a mazda 323 (and others) will fit, but don't know for sure...maybe a trip to pick a part or repco's METRA plug range for some trials is in order?
Basically the standard "main" plug doesnt come with any wires for the injection part so you buy the ignition harness for the plug and a few wires and use all the other wires in the injection part.

Ok Thanks for that, I have just ordered the ignition harness, pressure sensor and harness. I have also made up a serial cable from a nokia DKU-5 cable and a USB cable. Just TX,RX and ground needed. I also found and downloaded the software off the net as recommended.SLYDIT wrote:I have heard that the stereo headunit plug from a mazda 323 (and others) will fit, but don't know for sure...maybe a trip to pick a part or repco's METRA plug range for some trials is in order?
