Managed to find the last set of falken 195/45-15's in NZ so bought them the minute my pay came through. Also my boot lip spoiler arrived from ebay.

That roll bar is like mine but i have a cross serction instead of just a dash section.
I got heaps of shit for my rollbar from people saying it was a waste of time as it has no bars going into the back pacel tray.

I got the rollbar, a fibreglass seat + seat mount and seatbelt harness for $260, and it'll get me on the track, that's all I need at the moment (I'm not speed racer just yet) so I'm happy!

He needs a turbo before getting good rubber for the back
Today i found out that dad had some adjustable c spanners and wound down the coilovers.
Unfortunately as i was jacking up the car i noticed a big stream of coolant fall off the under tray, upon further inspection it looks like its coming from the water pump

Oh well will have to grab a new one when im at work next, will probably do all the other coolant hoses for piece of mind

Yeah, I know whenever I do cambelts i always do the pump as well.
How annoying is it to do them on mx5's?

its easy, still gotta take cam belt etc off etc, if your changing the radiator hoses take the radiator out while your doing it to give you more room,
just mark your teeth on your cam belt and you will be done in a couple of hours

I'd also have a good look at the little brass tee that comes off the thermostat housing they tend to fail also. Pretty easy to drill and tap a 1/8" fitting in there to replace it.

Furai I'm unsure on the brand (Some BBS replicas I assume). They are 15x7 +25.
