The bit from 7.50 to 8.10 is pretty damn good. Its interesting watching, you're doing pretty well with it.
Seems like it just needs that tiniest bump more in power and you'd be able to keep it sliding without too much drama? I'm sure the 6 speed helps, don't think I'd be able to do that in mine.
I wouldn't mind coming along to the next one to take some photos? Let me know next time you go and I'll try come along.

Thanks man, an extra 20hp would help but I think pulling all the potential out of her before moving up.
The next day is tomorrow ! Meremere 8-4

What tyres were you using? My car was really unsatisfying to drive in the wet at Hampton Downs but tyres did make a big difference.
I reckon it's probably not the lack of power causing issues, but the Torsen won't let you put all the power to the ground in the wet.

Went drifting at meremere today with furai, was extremely fun as it rained quite hard early in the day resulting in the car feeling like it had 200hp
About mid day the track dried up and i learned to manji quite well and was linking the length of the track by the end of the day.

Once I got the 6 speed in I didnt have any issues, tyres have just been whatever's lying around.

Missed out on going to Meremere since I didn't check the thread until it was too late, had to take a photo of something.
I love having a blue MX5

It just needs a black hardtop, and my Rays-Volks on it and I'll be happy with how it looks.

I bought it from a local who was racing at Hampton Downs, he was stripping his car and preparing it for a cage, was a really cool dude!
