I thought it was a great day... although skid pan was barely usable as it was so wet and I skipped the track.
Umbrellas on Queen seemed to get a good response.
We managed to keep the hood down until lunch time which left some amused.
Sadly a few stickers took some of my already iffy paint with them.

The atom made it to Hampton Downs but left pretty quick as they were just about hypothermic
Was a pretty good day despite to weather although it did mess up one of my cameras so hopefully that'll come right when it dries out
Haven't tried posting any links here before so sorry if I cock it up.....

For sure. I'm loading up a set on Flickr for the AMS guys and once they've seen them I can sell you any you like. I'm sure we can figure a price I've had pics blown up around the size of a 50" TV with awsome sharpness so they'll be good for pretty much whatever you want them forSkilfil wrote:Any chance I could grab some high res/buy them off you?m1atamad wrote:The atom made it to Hampton Downs but left pretty quick as they were just about hypothermic

It would have been fun if it wasn't pissing down with Rain, me and my mate got drenched jumping in and out of the car getting clues, and we were in the STi not the MX5, that would have been even worse.warrior wrote:yeah im going to give it a go....sounds like fun.
The guy in the Ariel Atom didn't look like he was having much fun.

Sorry to all those who got stuck behind the silver tanker truck but it was raining so much that wont have mattered to much to the pace eh.
Try climbing in and out of that thing all day, soaked & nackered by the end of it!
It was a real shame I couldn't put her round Hamptons as it would have been awesome but she was too heavy for the new surfacing and the organizers were afraid she would tip over!
Ha! No chance of that but that excuse may have been coz they saw the way I put the bosses ute round the track earlier...
Although they did say I cud put it on the skip pan!
Dunno why I'm saying silver as it was the only truck entered!

Oh yeah those guys. The bus driver thought it would be a laugh to jump in the truck and move it, he ended up rolling backwards over a sign.
-Just because you have your truck licence doesn't mean you know how to drive a brand new one!
It was a really good crowd of like minded people having fun but there's always someone who takes it too far!
Plus there was the photo in the paper of the cop in handcuffs with a toy gun to the back of his head. - He was a good guy and had no idea that had been done behind is back!
Anyway, No, I dont remember seeing them at the track, i couldn't say about the Spookers after party though as we had to go to a job.

This is a great day - we ran my old NISMO-R GTS-R pictured beneath last year and had a blast and we're entered to run vader this coming February, seriously FUN w/the team who put this even together being super professional and highly organized, totally great even actually and bang for buck it has to be one of the best events I've ever done
