Found a small crack in my turbo manifold and wondering what my options are...it looks to be close to where the turbo sits on top and about 2x inches long and black exhaust stuff just starting to come thru.
Cheers.

easy flow on a low heat with the gas plant, the cracking of manifolds when welding is mainly due to the heat up cool down speeds, ive braised cast very slowly and it did the trick.

pic of the manifold? is it cast ?
cracking can be caused by the manifold binding on the studs...drill the stud holes out to at least 11.5 mm to give it some room to expand/contract.

take it to a specialist welder who is expert at welding cast metal. cast needs to be pre heated before its welded to prevent further cracking.

O.K will do..car off the road for a while yet..lost my licence for 12x months..when I brought the car from Napier I was driving it back to Dunedin and was really tired and got pinged for doing 118 in a 50..didnt even see the 100 to 50 sign as think I was nodding off..then my detector went off but it was to late.
..still 5x months to go...

Gas plant with easy flow, has to be warm anyway to stick so should be sweet, done it to a s13 ages ago.
And agree on the drilling of stud holes, its quite common to slot the manifolds aswell between the ports for the same reason
