Halp: Multipurpose deluxe radio pocket thing

Ok, so today I tore my old factory radio out because it was sitting under the actual head unit doing nothing. When I got it out, the wires had been cut and all sorts. The catch is that now I need one of those plastic pocket things to go where the old radio was.

Does anyone have one kicking about? I went to super cheap today for most of the cans of degreaser they had and the cubby things didn't fit

Gearstick boot thing is also a bit whorey so a non-torn one of those wouldn't go amiss either, if anyone has one lying around.

sadly a standard size cubbyhole thingy is to small and a lot of people fillthe 20mm gap with rubber or a small piece of wood (painted). How good are your fabrication skills? if it was my car, I would make one myself out of plastic or timber (plastic if I could find a suitably sized plastic container to cut up) and then paint it black, then permanently affix it in place with a nice seam of black silicon at the lip so it seamlessly blends in with the dash and looks like a factory fixture.

or maybe ebay....

-=edit=- if it helps, this is what I did with mine. I would have preferred a cubbyhole, but I had the blank lying around and had the spare roadster badge from debadging the rear garnish. the strip above the radio was made of rubber strip from bunnings (like what you use to stick on a door frame to stop slamming). As you can see, I still have a small gap, but this is never seen due to the angle you sit at.

i whipped down to pick a part and got a cubby from a late 80's 626/telstar double din cubby. cut it down to size (just had to trim a bit off the top to make it shorter) and simply siliconed it in place. looks factory

See I would, but there's also a gap in my power band.

Found one that fits but has a gap - It came with a couple of front face ring thingies so I wedged the two unused ones underneath to [mostly] hide said gap.
