rust is corrosion. Ally corrodes. Or if we want to get fussy it oxidises.

Sorry for being fussy and using the correct terminology...only steel can rust while aluminium corrodes /oxidises! lol.

To enable me to keep an eye on things at the track i have installed an oil temp gauge with the sender threaded into a spare sump nut.
Water temp gauge is next on the list.

Just need a bung for the temp sensor welded on the ali coolant tube.

Shouldnt do...its behind the the IC & Radiator plus i have a full lower splash plate now.
My first turbo experiment had it in front of the radiator & even in the pouring rain at Taupo never had any issues...in fact they run better & cleaner with moisture injection.

Anyone else going to be at the Playday this Wednesday? (6th)
I've heard some of the Escort club will be there, so I'll have some competition with other non-inducted cars for a change but it's always great fun to try and keep up with other Mx's. -Even if they have forced power!
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Cool see you guys there!
Looking forward to seeing your car up close Donovan, while parked of course as my stock 1600 won't stay close to yours on the track BUT by god I'll try!
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Are you going to be running on the track, we will try and keep an eye out, you'll see mine a mile away, as it will still have all the sponsor stickers on it from the Cannonball run.

See ya there.
