Hi there I just purchased a 2006 NC 3 and I am looking for options on upgrading the head unit so I can use blue tooth or at the very least use the music stored on my iphone.
Has anyone out there any ideas.
It would seem that whilst this idea of building the head deck into the fabric of the dash has eliminated car sterio theft it has also created an issue for the car owner with regard to upgrading to accomodate new technology.

NC Head unit options
I bought one of these
<http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/audiolink-pla ... p-971.html>
for my 2006 NC with the Bose system. My Bose does not have MP3 capability
and this device works well, being limited by the sound quality of the Bose.
Just plugs into the back of the radio where an optional cd stacker would.
There is a version for the iPod as well.

Check out trademe 466353907 I put one of these in my 2006 nc with Bose and it is great. You can control either from iPhone/iPod or controls on steering wheel. Very easy to fit and select by pushing the CD twice.

you can buy a new stereo dash panel to fit a standard single or double DIN stereo
http://www.google.co.nz/imgres?um=1&hl= ... =117&ty=60
hope that link works.
you can then fit any of the many options that fit in a standrad stereo hole

I considered this before but it is quite expensive for what it offers. Bluetooth would be good too. I am trying to find a way to use all the speakers and bose amp with my Pioneer 2 dinGrant wrote:I bought one of these
