A NZ new 2005 Ver 9 which I have owned from pretty much new, Blue with Gold rims just for a change (not).
Haven't had the heart to replace it yet, as I don't like any of the newer ones, however, just waiting till the new RWD coupe comes out, then maybe will get one of those, if not, then a BMW 135i will be on the shopping list if I can find a manual one (can't afford a brand new one of those).

I'm going to be there for some of it in my ........ 6.2ltr Diesel Chev --- no road going MX5 at the moment
I kind of know the guy who runs Auckland Motorsport so I'll have some of the wagon stickerd up but I'm there to take pics. They run two a year...cannonball at this time of year and snowball in winter down around Taupo/the mountains.
If you see a HUGE Chev wagon at the start/Queenstreet/Hampton Downs come up and say hi

Met a few MX5 members, got out on the skidpad in mine and failed miserably. Stalled 3 times because I was losing traction in second at low speeds then out of nowhere it would grip. 2nd at near standstill = Car dies.
Didn't really like the skidpan so wet, far too icy for my liking. Still worth giving it a try though, just hope I didn't make too much a dick of myself. I did better than the 370z that stalled and couldn't get started for a while anyway

Weather was against us all yesterday, wasn't really good for going around and talking to people, unless you wanted to get completely soaked or had a handy umbrella, which I didn't.
At least faired better than those that come in their Ariel Atom, or the one's that had Fraser and no soft tops for them, they were doing a very good impression of drowned rats, don't even think they finished.
