Well, I went to the dyno day, and once again came out with the lowest
number!
It wasn't as much as I was hoping for, but 79kW is way better than my
previous effort of 68kW, and this engine when completely stock (and maybe a
little worn out) originally only made 60kW. (That's 106, 91, and 80 Horse
Power, respectively...)
Its a shame that Sean from Performance Car magazine chickened out and
wouldn't test his completely standard MX-5, and the supercharged MX-5
couldn't complete a run due to detonation (The owner can volunteer his own
name, but I wont "out" him
Clive also turned up in his other car... His MX-5 being in pieces in a
workshop on the other side of town... I guess that's a reasonable enough
excuse.
A fun and educational time was had by all...
Fletch.
