On the top of the headlite motors under rubber covers are the manual
openers.Wind these till your lights are at the desired height.Once you turn
the lights on they will return to the original height automatically.I have
a low light kit coming soon. Lights will be 75mm high. Ross.
anyone know how to raise the headlight an inch or so
*and* have the headlights still work? I can only do it
by pulling the fuse, but it must be possible since I
remember seeing someone else do this at the Pukekohe
track day...
it's a bit of a "ricey" look I know, but I thought i'd
try and see if it makes any difference with
knock/timing

CAI tinkering...raising the lights manually
CAI tinkering...raising the lights manually
thanks Ross, have tried this but after a few turns the
retractor motor will flip the cover fully up and then
down. Pulling the retractor motor fuse does the trick,
but of course then the lights don't pop up!
Maybe my '96 has an 'intelligent' retractor ??
