Yup...started it up fairly effortlessly just now and apart from heater hoses leaking at the firewall[soon fixed that with different clamps] and forgetting to put the clamp on a fuel line its up and running again! phew!
Hydraulic lifters seem a bit loud though it might just be amplification from my tin garage so hopefully nothing to worry about?Seems to get quieter with every start & could be the running in oil not pumping them up fully?
And unable to check my timing due to my timing light failing to strobe away so need to get that sorted now but idling smoothly around 850rpm.
Thought my race radiator was leaking but looks like residue water dripping away.
Need to run it in soon and then get the M.S. installed & tuned at the Dyno-shop.....bring it on!

Well done. Always a nice feeling when it fires up for the first time.
