The last time I was in Christchurch I went to Ruapuna as I had never been there and there was an older guy racing a Turbo Rotary powered MX5. It was pretty quick but a little untidy. Shame it had a rtotary in it though...

Yes, that is David Keir, also from ChCh..
I have seen the dyno sheets for his turbo rotary MX5...amazing.
Unfortunately, the car should be way quicker than it is with the horsepower available.... :(
