Word on the street is that there may be a Ferrari 250 being rebuilt in auckland somewhere. It may even be a hand built aluminium replica..Anybody know anything about it? who would be the likely candidates for such a project???

Could be anyone... but I know Duncan Fox (Fox-Roberts racing) has
rebuilt a few classics over the years - mainly open wheelers I think.
Not sure what they are up to these days but he was in Bucklands Beach,
east Auck when I was younger. There was a Talon MR1 that Tony Roberts
was racing, and they also rebuilt a McLaren M16.

cheers

it was apparently seen on the back of a truck in Auckland and was an aluminium shell, not fiberglass....not many places to that sort of work. Maybe Classicar restorations in Penrose who did the Shelby Daytonas???Anyone work around station road that could maybe go on an undercover mission with a spy camera???(sorry youll have to supply your own trench coat)
