US freight
So, I am looking at bringing in some parts from the states, and thinking about using a freight forwarder to see if I can get the costs down compared to shipping from the various places.
Is anyone else looking at bringing stuff for the US, and interested in adding their things into a part ship container?

Planning on getting some coilovers from 949Racing if they will fit in the container.

Haha well if you have room to spare I might place an order on their site tomorrow.Donovan wrote:Funny that, that's one of the things I am bringing over.SkilletKid wrote:Planning on getting some coilovers from 949Racing if they will fit.
Just a question Donovan, did you do a bank transfer or use a credit card to pay 949? I tried ordering the coilovers a few weeks ago but my debit card wouldn't have any of it.

I use my credit card, never had a problem ordering from them before with that, but mind you, never tried a debit card, that might work internationally.
I haven't had any luck getting hold of my freight forwarder yet, so I still haven't order any of the gear.
There is always going to be room, as it is a part ship container, so it's just gear that goes in a container that isn't full, sometimes it take a while before such a container comes up, so if you are in a rush to get anything, my way isn't the way to go, but is hopefully the cheapest (should be, bit pointless doing it otherwise)

Ah ok thanks for the info. Might just have a chat with the bank on why it wouldn't work then.Donovan wrote:I use my credit card, never had a problem ordering from them before with that, but mind you, never tried a debit card, that might work internationally.

No big rush on the freight. Finally got contacted by Fat Cat Motorsports so I might be getting the coilovers from there instead (which means delays). Keep us updated though, there may be a few other things that I'll get from the states when you finally get hold of the freight guys.
