I'll be there doing grid marshalling again. These meets are absolutely fantastic. Last two years meetings celebrated Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon. Full on weekends with Can Am cars and Formula 5000s aplenty!
For this meeting, the BMW museum has released at least one very important racing machine from it's museum, I believe, and there have been a lot of international drivers coming down here for the last two years.
The following event in January 2013 will celebrate Denny Hulme, which should also see lots of Can Am and Formula 1 cars down here.
If you only go to one classic race meeting a year, this should probably be it. However, if you can, go to lots of them because the cars are great, the people even better!
See you there!

The scream of the BMW museum M1 at race pace, Moffat's RX7, Texaco Sierra blatting around the track, the thunder of Formula 5000s on mass, the beautiful bright yellow 2litre Chevron tearing past much bigger cars, the enormous Mercedes 'thing' that goes damn fast! Come on guys, you know you want to go there.
Today was very good, even for qualifying. Hope to see some of you there.
