What exactly is wrong with green (brg) mx5s.???
There seems to be a lot of opposition to them from some list members. Brg was
my first choice of colour when I was first looking at buying. Then darkblue
(quite rare), then silver and red was a distant last as there seemed to be a
lot of them about and with fading colour too. I ended up with a nice 'aztec
silver model which I am very happy with. Eventually like you Gazza, I would
like to get a Mk2 NB and I think my colour preference would be the same.

We did not like green,or the red turned pinky mx5.White,blue,silver all seemed
ok.Yellow ones we saw were patchy and we ended up leaning back towards green
when we found a Black mx5.
Its all a bit of fun and green is as good a colour as any to pick on,bit like
the banta of "hair dresser car""
If you own a Green car dont drool, remember Black is cool. mike

When I was looking for my new toy in November 2003, my first colour choice was
green with tan upholstery and hood series 2 model but couldnt find one
anywhere. My second choice was evolution orange (gold) and I found a nice
example via the internet in Wellington. A trip down there for the weekend saw
me driving it all the way back in the rain.
I think it looks great and such a fun car should be a bright and fun colour.
We have a great deal of fun in it.
Some say the colour of a car reflects the personality of its owner. Who
Knows???

I've had 3 MX5s. The first was a 99 MK2 in Green, the second was a Facelifted Mk2 in Green, even the MK1 I bought when I arrived here, is Green. It's not the colour particularly, it's just that when dark colours are clean and polished, they look amazing.
I did consider a silver or white, and looking on the web at the Mk3, that RED special edition that's gonna be available in some countries, looks fantastic.
The good thing about my shade of green is, that in some lights it looks black, so I get the best of both worlds.
Green's a great colour, but it doesn't really matter what colour your car is, so long as you like it, why worry about what anyone else thinks?
Mine's so dirty at the minute, it just looks grey.
