enjoying it

Hi,
earlier this afternoon I was talking to Keith from the Northern chapter
about the driver training at Manfield in a few weeks time.
He was telling me that there is space available and opportunities abound.
I'm thinking that there are few chances to do the two things that in my
experience are likely to dominate the day.
Apart from the traditional kiwi 'afters' of course.

The first being the chance to learn a skill or two and to bone up one the ones
we may have not used in a while.
All roads are dangerous places if you don't know what you are doing, or worse
don't pay attention to what is going on.
In my case I have had a full license since 1974. The roads have changed a bit
since then and so have the cars.
All good I say.
I've taken every opportunity since then to learn more and to improve my skill
level.
I don't know if I am a good driver, I do know I get closer each time I receive
some training
to being what I think is the most critical.
That is a 'thinking driver'.

In short if you have been uming and aahing, then come. I know like me, you
won't regret it.

The second is to enjoy the car in a safe environment without opposing traffic
and to put a windy, sunstruck, possibly higher than the speed limit,
chillingly stylish, incredibly long lasting, larger than the kids on Christmas
day smile on my dial.

I have to learn to use less words don't I?
I'll practice

Cheers

Colin
