mx5 AUTO convert to MANUAL

Post by MX5PWR » Sun Jan 02, 2005 3:33 pm

Hi Colin, I know Don at Autoway Services in Hamilton (club sponsor and
member) has done a couple of conversions. The auto has a different compression
ratio engine but that's no problem infact is better for a Turbo!!!. You will
need to purchase a complete gearbox and clutch as well as the pedal assembly
as the auto pedal assembly of course only has the brake and accelerator and
you cant just add the clutch pedal to it.
I know Don is at work next week so you could either email him at
autoway.services@xtra.co.nz or ph 07 847 5484 Bus.
