I see that they now have an option of very narrow numberplates in Victoria
(Oz). It would be great to have the choice of this size as against the
present huge hunks of corr. iron that we have to bolt on.
Course NZ (or actually the dumb dreary bureaucrats in control) only follow Vic
when it comes to speed cameras or zero tolerance. Chances of us getting
narrow plates - zip! Same as chances of not having to get wof's or register
trailers - as in the much lauded Victoria.
I hate the horrible glunky great plate on the front of our '5'. Have been
tempted by the 'stick-on' option but comments on this list suggest that if you
come across mr pedantic plod (not hard to do) you will have to pay about 200
bucks to the labourious re-election fund.
regards Tim.

New South Wales have the small plates also... Stupid
thing is that they are made in the same factory as all
those message and picture plates that we have here in
NZ..
If only the bozos at LTSA(laugh+snigger) could see the
wood throught hte trees on this one. id happily pay
extra $50 for a thin plate to be made.
