Hi
I am very close to buying a 1998 with 80 + k's can someone please tell me a,
what a cambelt change costs and b what a new clutch costs, both fitted. Just
aprox. costs as the Mazda man in the phone book (Pennington's) can't tell
me...That leads me to another anyone recommend a garage or mechanic
in the New Plymouth area?

Hi Rod,

I'm new here, i just brought my second mx5 a few weeks ago, had the last one
some 10 years ago now.

I have just ordered cam belt and tensioner and idler for mine and the price
for all 3 of them was under $100, havent had them fitted yet so cant tell
you about that and i get wholesale so you will surely get quoted much higher
prices than this when you start shopping around, if so drop me a line.
