Hi!
Can anybody tell me a bit more about the Greenlane Gymkhana that is on the
club site for the 29th of May???
I would like to get a bit more involved with some club events and was just
wondering what happens during a gymkhana.
Thanks!

Greenlane Gymkhana
Hi, Tim
Bottom line - be there !
I've only been to one gymkhana (in an MX5 anyway) & it was a blast. All
very safe - just a series of "tests" driving around obstacles - sometimes
forward, sometimes backwards & for the very very keen sometimes sideways.
Each course takes about 30 seconds & involves starting & finishing in a
"garage". You compete against yourself (i.e. the clock) - one car at a
time. But while that adds a competitive edge, the real fun is in testing
your own skills & the capabilities of your car in a safe, fun environment.
As I said - be there.

Greg

Great fun. Sometimes on tarmac, sometimes on grass. Suitable for any
level of driving experience.
The last one was extremely well put together by Keith Detman, I don't
expect this one to be any different
(And yes, he is a volunteer too)
