You could try Mazline ph 0800 626 323
They have a double hoop that is easy to install and reasonably solid for
$325+GST+Freight
It still just attaches to the seat belt towers, and is definately no where
near as solid or as tall as a full roll bar setup, but you could talk to
Mazline or an installer about
a) Welding the bar in place
b) Adding rear bracing and maybe more fixing locations.
If you phone them, speak to Darcy Ramsay and tell him it's a referral from
Bill Marshall in Tokoroa.
I doubt you could get a double hoop that meets manz approval and still looks
good - I'm not saying you can't get hoops that offer some roll protection
however.
I have also been in conversation with Mike Satur from the UK
http://www.mikesatur.co.uk/mx5/
about the Boxter style hoops at the bottom of the page. He was hoping to
have these ready this year with the intention of offering plates that can be
welded to the car to mount the bar on as well as just bolts, but I have
heard nothing in the last couple of months so I don't know where he is at
with the design.

guess is around 105kw but that is a real guess.I was just wondering if anyone knows the kw rating on the '90 MX5? My
like the hoops but they don't protect you much and the roll bars don't lookAlso, anyone know how to get the hoop style bars into roll bar quality. I
nearly as nice. Please help if you know how I can get around this.
