I have encountered a problem when replacing the centre fascia (the part with
the vents) of my 1989 Mx5. The Mazda dealer says there is only one colour
available which is a dark grey. The interior of the car is black and the
fascia does not match. Has anyone else come across this problem?
Thanks David

David,
Mazda only ever made it in one colour, so it should be the right one.
Have you seen the center consol that the Mazda dealer is selling? What he
calls dark grey, you might call black.
It could be that the salesman you spoke to might have looked up the wrong
part (MX6 consol for example)
I would try another dealer or ask the same one to double check the part
numbers.
Cheers
