I have bought a Nissan Regulus. Still have my MX5 of course! However it has a
6 CD stacker behind the rear seats but alas the cartridge is not there. Two
questions. Are the cartridges a standard fitting / size. Where would I get one
from? The brand is Japanese "xanavi". Why couldn't it be Panasonic or Pioneer?
Answers anyone?

Photo of the unit?

I have spare 6 stack Pioneer units (the second model that the clear holders
pull right out, not the first model that just hinges. Stacker was sold a
while ago but they only wanted one shuttle).

Many Japanese audio firms rebrand their equipment for the japanese market. The Japs seem to prefer European sounding brands so you get brands like "Gathers" and "Carrozeria" which are just rebranded Alpine and Pioneer (I think thats the right way around). You might just discover that "Xanavi" is a rebranding of another commonly available brand. Have a look on the back of the unit, as it might tell you who manufactured it. But then again, the car audio available in NZ is only a fraction of whats available in Japan.

It is not totally the same as my Pioneer one was, but looks similar. Any
other opinions?
