Hi .. can anyone tell me what I could expect to pay for a new rear window.
First in plastic, then in glass? And does anyone know who refits them down
here in Christchurch?
Also how much should a 1996 dark green V-spec with 35,000kms on the clock, rear
spoiler, nice mags and full set of mudflaps go for? I beleive it also has an
automatic aerial as well and black interior (thought green one's had a tan
interior?). Was offered one a few weeks back for $22,000 and felt it was a bit
steep. Any comments? Also noticed that the front bumper wasn't original -
there was a bit of paint missing & it was blue underneath.
Many thanks
Tina

Rear Window
Here in Wellington 3 years ago I paid $300 for a replacement rear window.
They took out the old, removed the plastic, and sewed in a new one.

Rear Window
Allcare Trimming in Glenfield (Auckland) quoted me the following prices;
All prices are for fitted on the car:
Rear Window = $150 incl GST
Replacement zip = Over $200
Both zip and window replaced at the same time = $337.50 incl GST
I haven't gone ahead with this yet so don't know what the service is like,
but the guy I spoke to (Tim) was extremely helpful (turns out his girlfriend
drives an MX5!)
Cheers,
Lou
