Post by VIKING RACING » Thu Mar 22, 2001 8:33 pm

Hi everyone.
After some time chasing for second hand lowered springs someone answered my ad
on the website, it is as i am told a set of from the factory(MAZDA) lowered
springs, unfortunatly they are not mounted on the car so i have no idea howe
much it reducing the ride height. So i wonder if anyone of you have more info
about these springs

Lowered springs

John - I doubt very much that Mazda themselves make or ever made a factory
lowering coil. Is it possible is is a factory spring cut down? (lets not
start that thread again!) Ask the seller if it is a cut spring - you could
easily tell by looking at it anyway.

They could also be MazdaSpeed, which is an aftermarket tuning company (still
owned by Mazda believe - but could be wrong & have been before...)

Anyone else heard of factory lowering springs?

Lowered springs

John,

As another possibility I have a set of Eibach springs that I may sell. I will
know for sure in about 3 weeks time. These are stiffer than the factory
springs and lower the car about 1 inch all around.
