I've been sending a few company cars (Primeras- my boss still doesn't see
the logic in buying new MX5's) to our panelbeater lately ... I bit the
bullet and sent my dragon in for a cut and polish - first time I've ever
done this to a car!
I've seen warnings against this sort of behaviour in the list in the past
(thins the paint etc), but I'm very very pleased with the results - all the
little scratches and chips are gone, etc... the car didn't look this good
when I bought it! (And the little dent on the front mudguard finally got
it's marching orders)
So, I have no hesitation in recommending CBD Panelbeaters, 390 Great North
Road (Grey Lynn) Auckland. Phone Tyrone on (09) 309-1906 and tell him Peter
sent you - he'll look after you. He's doing a deal for my colleagues at the
moment - between $120 and $160 +GST per car... see if he'll play ball?

For JAFAs:
There is a new car valet service(well at least I just saw it for the 1st
time) right next to the self-wash place on Greenlane Rd. by Foodtown. A
broad range of valet-type services similar to the price range below. It's
called "Car-fe" where you can have a meal and a latte while you wait for
your buggy to be spruced up.
Regards
Bill
