Hi Darryl,
As Matt said I've had WI for 3 yrs now, it's been almost fault free. a (2nd
hand) solenoid valve failed and the jet blocked because I used incorrect hose.
The system is boost dependent, an adjustable pressure switch triggers at
4-5psi. I use an adjustable flow valve to set injection pressure. The pumps
are; an original Holden Barina unit in it's washer bottle and another inline
unit to give sufficient pressure. Injection is upstream of the blower now, at
10 psi. This gives 1psi more boost due to better rotor sealing. Injecting
closer to the combustion chamber gives better detonation control, in theory. A
float switch and LED provide fluid level warning. That's it, simple and
reliable or you can make it as complex and sophisticated as you like. A litre
of water/meth lasts for 1 tank of gas in urban driving or nearly 2 litres for
6-8 laps of Pukekohe. If necessary you can use plain water. I wouldn't use
pure meth, as it then becomes a fuel as well as a coolant and you'll need far
more accurate metering. Nos would be preferable for this.
Throttled volume is the mass of air between the throttle body and valves, the
larger this is, the more inertia to overcome to get good airflow when the
throttle is opened. Conventional intercoolers give a feeling like turbo lag on
JRSC's because the throttle body is before the blower, so there's a lot of air
mass to move. If you get to Auck anytime, call me on 021 942 363 and I'll try
to show you the set-up.

Hey thanks for that, sounds like a well set up system. I see what you mean now
with the trottle problem. Forgot that the throttle would have to be in front
of the blower. something i did overlook when thinking how I wanted to inject
our engine.
will call if in auck. ,may be up there this week to help my brother out with
his drag car.
Thankls again.
