Just in case Karl (or anyone else) still cares...
I was in Smith & Caughey today & bought some winter gloves (cowsplit + wool lining actually) and they also had driving gloves in the same cabinet.
Nice traditional leather ones in black or tan in a few different sizes. $60 each. must buy two. preferably a right and a left. I suggest getting the same colour for each also.
