Thanks for all the helpful replies. I did raise this same question a while
back but did nothing about it so couldn't remember the replies. I know MC did
reply about the Rotary Power people on the shore, I'll take a trip out there
on Saturday. I thought they would be a lot more expensive than $400.00.
I'll measure the ride height in the morning. I know that when I've parked
next to other mx5s there has always been a big difference between mine and
any others. The tread of my front tyres is almost at a level with the front
edge of the fenders when viewed from side on. The rears on the other hand are
way higher than any other mx5 I've seen , at a guess 'd say from the top of
the trye to the guard would be roughly 70 to 80 mm or more.

THanks for all the replies.
Regards
Mike

I don't think Rotary Pwr is open on Saturdays. Or at
least they weren't when I bowled on up at 11am. In any
case they're easy to find - look for the big rx7
painting on the road in to the testing station.

cheapest solution would be to snick off a coil or 3
from yr rears ..? I assume that's legal ;)

Thanks everyone for the tips,
I'll try and make some time to ring and then maybe call into Rotary Power and
get my springs checked out. I Will read up on doing the swap around...it
would seem a bit more than a no-brainer to me...but I'll have a read.
IF all else fails I might even have a glance over anything re : Spring
Shortening/Cutting.

Will let the list know what happens, thanks again to all.

Try searching shock absorber changing/replacement. It's the same process.
