No Reverse Gear

went to back the car last night, and couldn't. No reverse gear at all! No graunching sounds, selector works fine in all
forward gears, clutch fluid reservoir full & fresh, clutch depresses fully to the floor when required, forward gears
change smoothly when mobile or static.

Does anyone have any ideas/tips?

Pop over to the garage section of Miata.net

Getting stuck in reverse is a semi common problem, and a road-side fix
is listed.

Your fault may be related, and it certainly cant hurt to read up on
how to fix it...
