A cheap semi personalised plate anyone can get will be avaliable shortly.
The new rego plate system will be at AMX shortly so you could get a plate
with AMX 591 or similar, Its not truly personalised but would be better
than say AHT 378. You can go to your local PO and find out where those
plates in that series will be issued. You can hand in your old plates and
get a new set for $17.There will only be 99 AMX 5.. plates issued so be
quick. Ross.
Hey guys and gals
A question for you. Has anyone purchased a brand new soft top for thier
MX5, what material was it made out of and how much did it cost, and the all
important one - where did it come from? Did you have to pay large shipping
/ postage costs?
Thanks
Chrissy
Oh by the way - I am searching for cool P Plate ideas for my newly
purchased 1990 blue one, any good ideas please?

I gave this a go today and didn't get far! The PO in Auckland says they no
longer issue plates, ring Vehicle testing NZ. The first branch said they
have no way of knowing in advance what numbers will be in the batches they
are allocated. The chap at the central registration centre says only
"Hardings" in Otahuhu, who make and distribute the plates, know where they
will be allocated. And there is no "Hardings" in the phone book or via
directory service.
Any more ideas team?

Phil.
