The orig. MSSS unit attached to an internal seat frame, inside the lower seat back area. Looked like too much work for me. Also, apparently they can be mod'd to lower the resonant frequency - search google.com for "aura bass mod keohi"...
Graeme, did you get yours from Jaycar as well ?

I'd be devastated if anything happened to mine!
First job when I bought it was to fit an alarm, a Uniden top of the range VR
thingy with Microwave sensor (the top is always down) and dual immobiliser.
If you're handy with a multimeter and soldering iron its not really
difficult, I've done a few in my time so I didn't need a wiring diagram.
This also gave me the immense satisfaction of fitting central door locking a
couple of weeks ago

the doors lock, and the windows wind up

Two more jobs for this weekend - I've got some Bass Transducers on the way,
they are Aura Pro's - anybody fit these to a jellybean? Will they fit under
the seats or do I need to fix them behind and lose a bit of legroom? 2nd
job is a Pentium 2 laptop going in the bootwell, 10 Gb of MP3's to listen
too when driving with the top down

amplifiers already in place
