im guessing you did it in the opposite way u wrote it? tested torsen, now clutch is stuffed? lol mines heading towards the stuffed direction pretty soon haha
Nah did both at the same time :D

Well I actually thought it was stuffed and tried to change it before the day, but it handled it surprisingly well!

So I will be changing it when I get some time.

But you did well in the process. All that time down on the skid pan must have helped.

10th overall out of about 30 entries. Results here

WOW you guys got 10 runs for the day!

the organisers need to come down to tauranga and show them how to do it....so piss poor organised i am lucky to get 4 runs in a day...Late starting slow to stage the cars, one person changing the course etc etc. i have never been to such crapy run events as Motorsport BOP.

There wasn't much in it. Half a second over the best 5 runs.

I cant complain since most of the cars above me were modified beyond a Factory diff and shocks.

Was good fun though! Hopefully theres another soon!

Took my car around Taupo motorsport park with 'clubsub' Subaru club...First time at the track in this particular car and it went well, far more composed than my NA8 thanks to the Bilstein suspension, LSD and better body rigidity. Haven't looked at lap times yet but was getting to just under 160 on the back straight.

There were a few quick subies with semi/slicks and a couple of quick Hondas....there were also a few very slow subies (through the corners....holding me up   ). A good day though. :D

All standard kit on the NB RS....so the mazda torsen LSD and factory RS Bilsteins.....very controllable (even a slide at about 110-120 km :? around turn 4 over the slight crest)

Just finished removing the sludge that I'm pretty sure has been sitting in the gearbox turret since the car was first built... Then flushed it out a few times to get as much of it out as I could and wow. Silky smooth gear changes :D

Oh and an oil change which was less than fun. Hate trying to swap the oil filter. Made sure to put the oil cap back on tightly after my last accident left oil all through the engine bay

That looks very promising but isn't so high up on the priority list atm. Might install one next year though :)

I just had a real good look over the times, I would have done okay if it wasn't for course 3. I got scared throwing it into reverse.

You did really well to tie with that LGR thing, exact same time.

I will have to join the club and do more of these once I get a rollbar!

Next event is the autcross at Ardmore on Labour Day. I think you will need a bar for that though.

Might be keen for that one I guess. Haven't got anything lined up on my calendar except perhaps the Coastal Classic...

Yep, thats about 200km's of driving max :(

Hard top is great, 1 small chip about half of a 10c coin on the side on the outside of the seal side of the top, and the paint under the rear window is average. I'm estimating about 30-50 bucks worth of materials to fix

Must be a member of a MSNZ affiliated club, but you don't have to have a comp license.

Regs aren't up on the website yet.
