UH Oh......More ND transmission failures

looks like the ND has some serious issues.... exploding transmissions with only small KMs on them...id hate to be buying a used one....loooks like they jin bai ittai'd the beejusus out of the gearbox and now its made of chocolate....

Hmmm bugger... I may have persuaded my dad to go buy a new ND. Wonder if this affects the autos

:? Thats some seriously low k' for failures to start appearing with tame driving. Wonder whats causing it? Either poor design or sub-par materials?

That's early rotary failure figures. Maybe NSU designed/built the gearbox

Could just be a bad batch of gears though....time will tell.

AFAIK the nd uses the same auto gearbox as the NC so should be OK. ..also the more powerful fiat is rumoured to use the older stronger NC manual box as the test mules broke gearboxes in testing with the 1.4turbo motor
