Tracking down a reasonably rare bonnet/hood

Post by MrGrey » Mon Jun 30, 2014 10:21 pm

I have to admit that I have tingly feelings in my trousers when I look at the chaser aero gt300 hood.... I was doing some searching to see if I could find one for sale so I could see how much it would sting me, but it seems that chaser aerodynamics do not make them anymore (it seems their website hasn't been updated in 10 years) so I was wondering if anyone might have any idea where I could find one. This is purely a fishing expedition currently as I know it would be bloody expensive but I would be curious to know if they are still available anywhere or if anyone knows a Chinese knockoff that I could possibly consider. Thanks for your time :)

closest I can think of is Vary: http://vary.co.jp/wd/na_bonnet.html , tho Blackbird might;ve had something similar too.

it wouldn't be too hard to get the vented portion in a factory bonnet.
