Ergonomics mods

Post by marcellarius » Fri Apr 11, 2014 6:00 pm

I've been pondering for a while how to best go about fixing the ergonomics of my 94. I'm 6'0" and uh.. well padded. My left knee sits too close to the steering wheel.

I've already foamectomied my drivers seat (I'll eventually get fixed back seats), also have been considering a spacer between the steering wheel and boss.

I've been driving a friend's roadster for a while and he has removed the dead pedal to get a bit more leg room. Removal is going a little far for my liking, it gives you something to brace against, but it would be nice if it was ~half the height.

Has anyone here played around with modifying it, or other ideas for a more comfortable driving position?

I shortened mine by cutting out 25mm and joining back together with a small plate and pop rivets. I also altered the angle

Get a smaller steering wheel, the factory ones are far to big!
