NA Battery

Post by Bazza » Fri Feb 28, 2014 5:52 pm

Looks like mine is on the way out, anyone replaced one lately with any
advise on what's needed, price etc. Current one has been suffering from lack of use, the car very much a "hobby car" for an older couple. Tks..

Rather than paying through the nose for an OEM battery (they are a special sealed drycell variety if I recall correctly) I replaced mine with a standard heavy duty 12v car battery from the warehouse (of all places, heh)

Just get the height, width and depth measurements and get a similar sized one to fit. If I recall correctly, mine cost around $125

Good thinking.....mine is a very tidy fit, all fittings look like new and clearly size will be a factor, it's a sealed unit.
