Finished putting in poly bushings into all the arms/uprights. Grease nipples on the control arms too (but not on the top rear arms because of the bracket there that it will interfere with at factory droop).

Next step is to start putting the arms back and finally put in my Bilsteins.

Pic of rear upright as well as bottom arms in place with nice new alignment bolts (my 23 year old factory alignment bolts were mullered - no wonder every alignment place I went to couldn't get the rears right).

Other wheel took around 4hrs of of sanding then another few hours to mask it up before i painted it tonight.

What size are those Streets? 5/6j?

Picked up my GV Panel from Cole earlier this week and got to fitting it. Had minor damage and needed paint. Came out great.

Argh. Spent money on a spare wheel. Might have to invest in a gv rear panel and lights

Went drifting today, I thought having an expensive kit would tame my driving. Was a Cs Garage x S Club day and I got 3rd in the mini comp winning a set of Parts shop Max wheelnuts

Also went through a puddle so needs a wash

Not today but last weekend i picked up my manifold, downpipe and some injectors from 2low2c. Your work is amazing man.
A few more parts to sort out but im confident in installing it all and doing the off boost side of the tune myself.

Thanks,

It's from Jass Performance.

http://shop.jassperformance.com/index.p ... duct_id=55

They also have mirror polished stainless version of this

But, like Jesse said, it set you back a little for $$, postage was not too bad.

Well technically I only drover her today and others did it but got some spiffy new wheels and tires. I can just feel the added grip from the larger contact patch on the ground but the missus is not pleased at the money spent due to her wanting me to get a larger car.... (She wanted 5 seats and I told her I was going to buy another 1 and a half mx5s not amused  ).

But back to the reason of this post

As explained in the this thread they are 15x8/20p on 205/50/15s. I am happy they go great with the matte black hardtop.

To be accurate, the shape of the contact patch has changed...not the actual size.
Cheers.

The way the tyre sits on the rim would make me think that the tyres are wider than 205 or the wheel is narrower than 8 inches. 205 on an 8 should be fitting with maybe the smallest amount of stretch.
Throw some lower springs in there though it will look better in my opinion.

New Fuel cap from Zoom came in the mail from Japan the other day. I am going for an old British roadster kind of look so vintage parts like these are a very obvious choice.
No modifying the body it's a straight bolt in all aluminium piece; solid build quality and even came with a tube of really good alloy polish solution.

Image

Image

To add to the British Roadster look I swapped my entire black interior (which was very clean and well kept) for tan (which was dirty and has a few damaged bits), cleaned everything thoroughly and here you have it!
I believe Laguna and Tan was only available in the American market (I have no documents showing the European or Japanese markets having them) and only 463 were produced from 1994-1995.
The swap isn't finished yet though, I still need the seats and to pick up the remaining trim pieces I left at the old owner's house.

The wheels with the balloon tires are misleading, because there's the machined silver face then a black stepped lip - which blends into the sidewall which makes it look like a tractor tire, but it's just the design (just for clarity, cause I thought the same thing)

Yeah any side-on photos or something to show the profile? I've got 205/50/15 on a 6.5 and it doesn't look anything as baloon'd as that. Probably just an illusion as CordedBowl said.

Just took these with my phone, it is mostly an optical illusion caused by the black wheel due to the machined face being recessed from the lip these should clear it up a bit.

Oh and the fronts rub like hell on the inner guards(I think) on full lock and over half decent bumps(I mean lovely flat Christchurch roads). However an upside is now my speedo is accurate to my GPS on speeds.
