Had been holding off on putting my new wheels on until I'd done something about the suspension, but had to get a wof as it was about to expire and the old tyres didn't have enough tread left. So, behold - new wheels on feat. tractor mode:
Also swapped out my side markers/fender indicators for something less...orange

Cupholder 4A-GE
I brought a genuine Mazda one from eBay (cost about $60 NZD including shipping) and put that in place of the pointless box-y thing between the seats - just slots straight in! it's fantastic! As everyone will learn I have really no DIY ability - lol - so it's source source source, when I have a good internet connection at work!

Thanks - I actually got them from broomfish after seeing your posts about them. They're the same ones with the chrome surround, but I painted the surround black to blend in better.GRUVBB wrote:Those dark side markers look Sweet As especially on the darker coloured fenders... Welcome to the converted crew.
I also wetsanded down the raised lettering on them then re-polished them. I wasn't quite sure if they had a coating I was going to damage or if they'd be fine like most plastic car lenses, turns out I didn't need to worry, they came up perfect.

Money well spent.... Now all you have to do is get rid of those ridiculous headlights and Retro Fit some Pop Ups....
Any chance you can take a nice close up of the side markers now that you have modified them.... Its got me thinking. Ypur car looks nice.

Have a couple of pics from before I put them on, but they're all from my phone so the quality is pretty average. This one is prob the most detailed:GRUVBB wrote:Money well spent.... Now all you have to do is get rid of those ridiculous headlights and Retro Fit some Pop Ups....

CHEERS Junkwhale.... I feel the mod coming on. Thats a really good improvement to them. Luckily they come off quick for a rainy night project.

Noticed driving blu car wasn't as fun, mostly due to seating, we tried to fit a bucket laying around but it was a bit big so 2low2c ripped apart the stock seat & about 30mins later I was rolling foamectomied, apart from a broadway mirror I would say to a stock MX5 this is the best mod I've done, gave probably 2" more leg room & the same improvement in headroom plus far increased hold... he left the front edge / bolster full n fat to lift the knees/legs up for even more room/comfort.
Blu car is now completely different, feel part of it & not bending at the neck like I think I was, waaay more comfy & way better hold.
Mod Factor: 9.9/10 (only a Broadway gets 10/10)
