PROTECT YOUR CAR!!!! GPS TRACKERS!!!

Post by SLYDIT » Tue Dec 31, 2013 1:41 pm

with the increase of thefts of cars i'd like to remind everyone how easy it is to actually keep hold of your car.

the TK103b GPS tracker can be had for well under $100 and will track the location of your car.
it uses a prepay cell phone sim card and will text your phone if a door is opened or the shock/microwave sensor tripped.
you can even disable the car on the run or remotely trigger a siren/horn/immobiliser relay.
I installed one of these into a mates skyline and it was great.

for the very small outlay(an alarm tech could put one in in a couple of hours if you cant do it yourself) and IMO is a better option than an alarm as you will know INSTANTLY where ever you are that your car has been tampered with and EXACTLY where it is...

check them out on ebay...plenty of suppliers.

Under $100 !!!
Damn I'm getting me one of those

Best part is, it gives you time to go home, get the Shotgun, and then go and have a "quiet" word with the thieves.

-=edited post=-

As it happens I have a brand new gps alarm available, I have posted a classified ad if anyone is interested.

sorry for previously posting info in this post, in retrospect I should have done a classified from the get-go

.... in the meantime, I'm still hoping for the safe return of the car

The 'like' button is located on the trigger of my AK47
Rest in Peace Mikael Kalishnokov :(

I think you might have to have a blast with that after we dyno your car
