Thanks Ben for organising this groupbuy! They aren't always the easiest of tasks.
Picked up my PRD license plate bracket today, got to work as soon as I got home. Although a simple item, it's clear some thought has gone into this (such as horizontal plate adjustment, and quality fittings).
I took photos of the result, but none during the process (#$%@ you rain!).
Although it's doable by hand bending the bracket (I shut mine in a door and pulled to get the desired effect) I don't recommend it at all :l
The security fittings included. My partner has had her plates stolen before so I appreciate this hardware.
I give the handwriting 8/10
And the view from the back.
I'm not affiliated with Redben in any way, but this groupbuy was a fucking steal. Thanks mate!

Hi Dylann, these wont rattle providing you do them up tight on the first go as I have supplied Nylock nuts to fit these which next to never come undone again.dylann wrote:Looks awesome, I can recommend putting some sort of rubber thing in between the washers/tow hook to stop rattling (if these in fact do rattle) the one that came with my car wouldnt shut up.
Cordedbowl - Absolutely amazing photo's! The Bracket looks choice on your MX5! (only thing to point out the M6 Washers should go on the back as the dome head on the front already supports the loading ) However that's just the way I would do it, look choice man!

I totally agree, the fixing point was an ideal choice. I initially suspected I would have to take out my front mesh and get out the tin-snips but that was totally unnecessary. I didn't have the correct socket to use the screws (my sockets did not have the central hole for the spike on the nut) but I used the 2 engine screws that held the breather pipe to the cam cover (I removed them when I replaced the pipe with a filter on the cam cover) and it looks damn fine
