Debadging an NA6

Post by kuroneko » Fri Oct 26, 2012 12:56 am

Hi folks,

I'm thinking about taking off the eunos badge from the front bumper, and the "mazda" and "mx5" stickers from the rear.

Is it a relatively clean process? Are there any holes or problems with paint coming off if I use a fishing line and heat gun?

I've seen a few pics of cars with no badges, it looks so much cleaner IMO.

Opinions?

I know there are 2 locating holes for the Eunos badge in the front bumper. As for the rear badges Im unsure?

Thanks man, I'll have a look at how big those locating holes are and worst comes to worst, just double sided tape it back on.

Pics possibly to come (if I remember)

The badges on the rear are pinned through the panel. I debadged the rear when I got the back patched up and it looks much better. Was going to fit some smaller badges from an NB but in the end decided against it.

Note: ignore the dodgy panel fits and paint mismatches.
