Toploc

Post by Angreal » Wed Oct 03, 2012 9:11 pm

Toploc arrived. Took the harddtop off though so I won't be able to test it until it next goes back on.

Theory behind it is that one of yooos fullas who want my hardtop can't have it without either braking it or having lots of time to fiddle around trying to get this off although the more I think about it, the more I realise I kind of don't need it as the roll bar makes removing the side fixings a PITA anyway...

Garage Vary Rain Rails

Post by Angreal » Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:24 pm

My Winding Dancers (aka Garage Vary Hardtop Rain Rails) arrived via courier today. Very glad I decided to not sleep in too long and managed to sign for them

What can I say? These are a lot more dense and quality feeling than I'm used to expecting... Japanese products are awesome. Anyhow, mounted them today but the hardtop will be off for a while so I won't be testing them for quite a while I guess...

They are Techna-Fits They have a rubber sleeve over the SS lines and are DOT approved so I should have no trouble with WOF

Also Bought some new Brake Rotors

This is wierd though

John Andrew Ford & Mazda
Front 254mm Rotors $35 Each
Rear 251mm Rotors $100 Each

WTF?

I Called North Harbour Mazda and the guy quoted me the same prices and said he doesn't understand it either
He said he would call mazda and get back to me and hopefully get them down to $60ish

Angreal, is that the one for 1.6 or 1.8/NA/NB sub frame. Wouldn't mind having a look at it at some stage before you fit it if that would be possible.

Woohoo. My container of parts I've been stockpiling throughout the year has arrived in the country. All that's left is to track doing some invoices, pay some monies and collect the best Christmas present to date 8)
