Really, not super serious.

In the quite near future, I'm going to get a new roof. No zip, glass window; feels good man.

... But surely there are other colours available that aren't black. All I've managed to find (against the silver) is blue, which I reckon looks ok, but it's been a while since I've seen blue shoe polish in the squishy liquid bottle thing. That's right, I am taking maintenance into consideration for once!

Found silver too - Seems a bit of a weird colour for vinyl to be? Also no idea how I'd (whatever verb goes with care product) it.

I know tan exists, but google won't show me pictures of silver miats with tan tops. So, can a photoshop expert please 'shop various coloured tops onto a silver NA6 (bonus points for factory boot spoiler) and post them in this thread?

Be much appreciated.

Also don't spew too much colour hate - I can't see colour at the best of times.

Personally I'd go for black, however I did have to look at that silver one twice ... I'm not convinced it's horrible!

Annoyingly, having spoken to the upholsterer, only black and tan are available.

So.

Ken's pretty close - The colour looks ok, now can someone find a picture of an NA with a tan top? I sure can't.

I googled many variations of that before starting the thread.
Every combination save tan/silver on an NA is there. I've found about 4 pictures of silver NB's with a tan top.

Red and white are there. There's also a nice red NB in the carpark with a tan roof.

Anyone happy to photoshop a silver one to have a tan roof?

go to the cabrioworld website. they have two different tans. a black a grey etc etc

Late to this party. Have some shoop. Finding a good source image was harder than colourising a black top

I'd definitely go for black unless you have a tan interior - and only then on a BRG car

I would have said the same, although a couple of weeks ago I saw a late NB8 in metallic titanium grey with a tan fabric top which I thought looked quite spruce.

My 2 cents is to go with Black. I dont like the look of any of those other colours, however it may be nicer live????

Thanks marcel. Tan looks a bit meh on the NA and I've asked for black as is.
Tan on other colours looks classy as, I reckon.

who are you using for your roof install? do they do upholstery for seats as well?? I'm checking out bodyworks when I get home for a quote but can't hurt to get some others too!
