Good job man! You had some good chase runs, I laughed when you started having a little circle party. Was a touch concerned as to where the S14 was on the second to last run! Should be set for MX5 tandems next time!
We got to do the same course(A touch tightened by the rally boys) for a couple runs at the end of the day!
My mate got way closer to me than I did him, watch the rearview mirror !

So had another drift day! Was a good one apart from throwing the waterpump belt >.< The NB pulley is damaged and has thrown the belt off twice so Ill be buying two new belts and putting the NA pulley of mine on. Other than that an awesome day!
Also got to jam full track, was a good bit of fun but Im a little rusty and still getting used to the new suspension setup. Didnt get much time on track because of my belts.

And this afternoon I picked up some more wheels

Need more tyres for the next drift day this weekend but I have the day off tomorrow to get everything sorted!
So more to come, need tyres and wheel nuts! Its going to be a busy month!

Just a pair for drifting, in saying that they are pretty good condition!

So I got a bit done today, replaced the NB pulley with my NA one and put a brand new OEM Mazda v shape waterpump belt on and a new powersteering/AC one. Hopefully that should solve my belt issues I had with the ribbed ones.
Also got wheel nuts for the MK1s and some 185-55-14 Dunlops.
Ready for the weekend!
Will hopefully make these tyres last the weekend...

There would have been some much better photos if we werent drifting behind you. I might ask if i can follow in passenger of Garys car next time or something.

Hmm, would I be allowed to drive after him but not drift? I'd be keen to camera car, theres a few things I want to trial and this would be perfect.

You would have to have a talk to the track manager, passengers are only allowed in full cage cars with some exceptions for tutors etc but for a camera person you may be allowed it depends on how you want to do it

I would love that. But the track limitations are insane. To get the ideal photos, i would have to be leaning out of the car haha.
Something like this shot i took from saturday, but much much closer...

Had a fun day on Saturday, tried out Meremeres newly revamped surface which is grippy as all hell.
Im getting a little bored though and need more people to chase.
Next one this Saturday will have more techo layouts and hopefully more tandems!
I managed a wall scrape so theres a little bit of white paint on my bumper!
