Ha! Just had a CF bonnet lying around, classic.

I like the idea of it though, I have some wrap left over so I'll give it a go.
You have to be careful with CF wrap though, it can get addictive! Suddenly everything would look good with it....
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

I was a child of the 80's so my first thought was of this as your test song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu1XNzPTqO0

if you want, pm me a postal address and I can send you some CF vinyl if you want? (so you don't have to have a shiny tin finish if you don't want)

-=edit=- and just to be pedantic, I assume it won't receive radio transmissions and therefore would be more akin to a line input as opposed to being a radio? (yeah, I'm being anal)

Finally got my second recaro in today, took a day for the first one and two hours for the second one lol.

Sits the same level as an OEM seat with foamectomy, but I'm going to try foamectomy on these to drop them a bit.

Support and comfort in a totally different league than the originals too.

Total cost seats $300, though they can be got cheaper; $10 for some 3mm steel from the local engineers; $5 for nuts and bolts.

They look great, perfect fit too!
I'm sick of the lack of support with my factory seats (especially when at Hampton Downs!) & have been looking at cheap bucket seats but I have my wife, my dad & mates occasionally driving the car so a bucket isn't really going to work.
Perhaps a set of Recaro's will be the go, look forward to hearing how the foamectomy goes...

You could buy a cheap bucket seat and spare pair of rails. Its only four bolts to drop it in for a track day?

I am genuinely sorry for the audio torture.
I'm pretty sure this is the first video I ever watched on the internet.

I cannot personally recall my first vid, but I do remember my first mp3 was firestarter by prodigy (before it was released in NZ)

Thats a great mp3 to start off with. I remember discovering electronic music and taking it on my mp3 player to school, and nobody liked it because rap and hip hop were the only thing you were allowed to listen to if you wanted to be cool.

And now look where EDM is at.

My seats finally arrived today, just placed them in to see how they look. I need to fabricate some brackets. I hope to have them in next week.

Yea, they are nice and thin, also very stiff and only about 3 kgs. Quite a snug fit, ok for me but the missus....
