I love that the media have started using the word 'car enthusiasts' instead of boy racers. That really paints the wrong picture when anyone who enjoys their car for more than getting from A to B. For example - anyone that owns a BMW....

Of course they don't blame all women when an(other) drunken house wife gets DIC'd
They don't blame all elderly when an(other) old person rams into a shop front.

But they certainly act like 'boy racers' are some homogeneous group and that an individuals behaviour is somehow condoned by other people of the same age etc.

Hey hey hey..... Not all BMW drivers are wankers! :D

However, I was never big on the term Boy Racers. And being named one annoyed me, the only racing I'd do would be up to the speed limit + 10 kph.

I thought 79hp would have been on the low side?
I have similar mods and I have 101hp at the rear wheels. I know there are differences in dyno's etc but I that seems a lot.
Unless the engine is pretty tired....

101? O.o

That seems really high.

Bearing in mind that 20 years ago they had about 105 hp add 20 years wear and tear onto the parts...

Pretty sure they are 90-95hp stock at the rears so it would mean that its only lost 11hp from factory. Either way though I'm aiming to double it before I give it another run on the dyno.

Fair point.

However as I have said time and time again. My car is listed as there are people that have to much money and will simply say "daddy please"

I'm thinking about asking the dude if it is bridgeported, which model 323 it is out of, will it fit in my hilux surf. Anything else?

Not really. Its 115 - 6 at the flywheel and 101 at the wheels.
Thats with a lightened flywheel, 14 degrees, decent exhaust, improved intake... I can post up the readout later.
